Boys’ basketball: Price to retire jersey number of Allen Crabbe on Jan. 6
It’s going to be quite a celebration in the Price gym prior to the game against Gahr on Jan. 6 at 7 p.m., because that’s when Price will honor former standout player Allen Crabbe by retiring his jersey number.
Crabbe led Price to a state Division IV championship in 2010. He was The Times’ player of the year. He went on to become the Pac-12 freshman of the year and player of the year at California.
He was a second-round NBA draft pick and is a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. He will be at the game on Jan. 6, Coach Michael Lynch said.
