In the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s game against Long Beach Poly, it was tough to tell apart Westchester guards Chris Simmons and Jeremiah Turley when they were playing together.

Both are about 5-feet-10, both are left-handed, both are quick and both have similar hair styles with a touch of blond.

Coach Ed Azzam said he’d gladly help separate the two if they want.

“I’ve got a razor in my office, but they won’t let me use it,” he said.

Simmons, a senior, isn’t about to change his blond look.

“It’s my good luck charm,” he said.

As for Turley, a sophomore, “I was think about dyeing my hair red.”

Each has been a key contributor in Westchester’s 2-0 start. The Comets play in the semifinals of the Redondo tournament on Friday.
