Girls’ basketball: Chaminade’s Paige Fecske commits to Pepperdine
Senior point guard Paige Fecske, one of the top players for top-seeded West Hills Chaminade, has committed to Pepperdine.
Fecske’s outside shooting has been a key part of Chaminade’s run that enabled the Eagles to win the Southern Section Open Division girls’ basketball championship. She scored 25 points in the championship game against Santa Ana Mater Dei.
Chaminade is set to play Mater Dei in a rematch on Saturday at 6 p.m. at The Pyramid in Long Beach.
