Update: The Ducks will be facing former teammate Ray Emery, who will start for Chicago in goal. Emery joined the Ducks in February of last season and went 7-2-0 with a 2.28 goals-against average. Not making the trip to Chicago with the Ducks was center Saku Koivu, who is out because of a groin strain. He is considered questionable for this three-game trip. Koivu suffered the injury in a game at St. Louis on Dec. 8.
