Update: The Mercury last lost June 12 and has won a franchise-record 15 consecutive games, tying the second-longest streak in WNBA history. Phoenix leads the Western Conference, 10 1/2 games ahead of the fourth-place Sparks, and already has clinched a playoff spot. The two teams last met Thursday in Los Angeles. Nneka Ogwumike scored 23 for the Sparks, but DeWanna Bonner, Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi led the Mercury to a 93-73 victory. Sparks Coach Penny Toler, who took over for Carol Ross, earned her first win Saturday, 77-69 over Seattle.
