Up next for UCLA basketball: at Washington on Thursday night
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Alaska Airlines Arena, Seattle.
On the air: TV: ESPN2. Radio: 570.
Records: Bruins 22-7, 11-5 (Pac-12); Washington 16-13, 8-8.
Record vs. Washington (2012-13): 2-0.
Update: UCLA has had difficulty winning consecutive games away from Pauley Pavilion, a problem that needs to be fixed before leaving for Las Vegas and the Pac-12 Conference tournament next week. The Bruins have lost eight of their last nine games against Washington in Seattle, though they clinched the Pac-12 title at Washington in the 2012-13 regular-season finale. Washington’s C.J. Wilcox, a 6-foot-5 swingman, averages 18.2 points per game, and he’s not a solo act. Guard Nigel Williams-Gross is among the Pac-12’s best freshmen, averaging 13.4 points. Perris Blackwell, a 6-9 senior, gives the Huskies a strong post player.
