Someone hacked the NFL’s Twitter account to claim Roger Goodell is dead
NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell is alive and well Tuesday morning, despite the claims of an apparent hacker on the league’s Twitter feed.
Around 9:30 Pacific time, this message was tweeted out by through NFL’s account:
The tweet was quickly deleted, and CNN confirmed with the NFL that the commissioner has not passed away.
But none of that stopped the hacker, who continued tweeting from the NFL’s account despite the blown cover.
Those tweets have been deleted as well.
The NFL is looking into the situation.
