Clippers’ Blake Griffin, Chris Paul among top NBA endorsement earners
When Forbes released its list this week of the top NBA endorsement earners, the Clippers had two players among the top 10.
Blake Griffin was ranked ninth, earning $6 million in off-the-court income in 2013, Forbes reported.
Chris Paul was ranked 10th, pulling in $4 million in endorsements.
Griffin has deals with companies including Nike, Kia and Subway. He also is in the first year of a Clippers deal worth $95 million and will earn $16.4 million this season.
Paul’s sponsors include Nike and State Farm insurance. He re-signed with the Clippers last summer, a five-year, $107-million deal, and will earn $18.6 million this season.
