UCLA Coach Jim Mora says he’s not going anywhere
UCLA Coach Jim Mora said he will remain the Bruins’ coach.
Tennessee and Auburn officials reportedly are interested in Mora, who has led UCLA to a 9-3 record and a spot in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl in his first season. It will fall on deaf ears.
[Updated at 10:42 a.m.: “It’s flattering to be mentioned for such prominent jobs, but I’m committed to UCLA,” Mora said. “[Athletic Director] Dan Guerrero has been incredibly supportive and we are determined to bring a national championship to UCLA.”]
Mora is under contract with UCLA through the 2016 season.
Mora’s first-year success made for Internet speculation. But Mora said he has not spoken to anyone from Tennessee or Auburn.
