Update: Before losing by 24 to No. 10 Utah in the conference opener Friday, USC had averaged more than 76 points over the previous five games. They managed only 55 against Utah. USC Coach Andy Enfield said the young Trojans have to learn to play on the road in the Pac-12. They'll play in another hostile environment against the Buffaloes, who held off UCLA despite missing forward Josh Scott, the team's second-leading scorer and leader in blocks and rebounds. Scott sat with back spasms, and it is unclear if he will be available to play against the Trojans.
