Fact of the day: USC and Nebraska both played Fresno State this season. The Trojans defeated the Bulldogs, 52-13, in the opener; the Cornhuskers defeated them, 55-19, on Sept. 13.

USC will play Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

The Trojans finished the regular season 8-4 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-12 Conference. The Cornhuskers are 9-3 and 5-3 in the Big Ten.

This will be USC’s first time playing in the Holiday Bowl, but its fourth game against Nebraska.
