All appeared amicable this time around.

Former USC Coach Pete Carroll and ex-Trojans quarterback Mark Sanchez reunited Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field before the Seattle Seahawks’ 24-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

A pre-game exchange, which also included former USC quarterback Matt Barkley, looked friendlier than Sanchez’s 2009 news conference when Carroll famously disagreed with his decision to leave school for the NFL.

Sanchez was the fifth pick in the 2010 NFL draft. He played in two AFC championship games with the New York Jets before his career foundered and he signed with the Eagles.

On Sunday, Carroll’s Seahawks held the Eagles to 139 yards.

Sanchez completed 10 of 20 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns, with an interception. He was sacked three times.

Carroll is now 2-0 against Sanchez in the NFL. In 2012, the Seahawks defeated the Jets, 28-7, at Seattle.

Kennard helps Giants’ defense

Former USC outside linebacker Devon Kennard continues to make steady progress in his rookie season with the New York Giants.

Kennard made six tackles, including two sacks, in a 36-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans at LP Field.

Kennard has four sacks and forced a fumble.

Reunion in Washington

Washington Redskins running back Silas Redd and St. Louis Rams safety T.J. McDonald swapped jerseys after the Rams’ 24-0 victory at FedEx Field.

Redd and McDonald played together at USC in 2012 after Redd transferred from Penn State.

McDonald made four tackles and deflected a pass.

Redd rushed for eight yards in his only carry.

Cameron back at it

Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron, sidelined for five games because of a concussion, returned in a 25-24 loss to the Indianapolis Colts at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Cameron caught four passes for a team-best 41 yards.

Lee’s contributions continue

Jacksonville rookie Marqise Lee’s role continues to grow.

Lee caught five passes for 67 yards in a 27-13 defeat by the Houston Texans at EverBank Field.

Lee has 27 receptions for 335 yards and a touchdown.
