Kuypers, Hatch Sign Intent Letters
Orange Coast’s Ricarda Kuypers, a freshman guard, and Colleen Hatch, a sophomore forward, have signed letters of intent to play basketball next fall. Kuypers, from Germany, is going to UCLA and Hatch, from Marina High School, is bound for Northern Colorado.
Kuypers averaged 14 points, 6.5 assists, and four rebounds for OCC, which reached the State tournament for the first time.
She and Hatch were all-Southern California and all-Orange Empire Conference selections.
Hatch (962 points) was second in all-time scoring and third in all-time rebounding (505) for the Pirates.
