Share

Opponent--Toronto Raptors.

Site--SkyDome, Toronto.

Time--4 PST.

TV--Channel 9 (delayed at 5).

Radio--KLAC (570).

Records--Lakers 3-1, Raptors 1-2.

Record vs. Raptors (1995-96)--2-0.

Laker update--The three-game Eastern swing comes to an end the same way it started, with the Lakers getting results from their defense while the offense wheezes along. They have yet to break 100 points or give up 100, and three of the four opponents haven’t even scored 90. Another double-digit output by the offense will be the fifth in a row, their longest such streak since eight consecutive three years ago. “The New York game [Tuesday] was a good game and we haven’t played well otherwise,” Coach Del Harris said. “We’re just totally out of rhythm offensively.”

Raptor update--Marcus Camby, the No. 2 pick in the draft, is coming off the bench but playing about 19 minutes a game. Walt Williams, the starter at small forward, has fouled out in six of the last seven games dating to the exhibition season. Doug Christie, the former Laker, is starting at shooting guard.
