L.A. County supervisor candidates to debate in Hollywood tonight
Candidates competing to replace Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky for a seat on Los Angeles County’s governing board will face off in a third debate Thursday night at the L.A. Press Club in Hollywood.
Participants include former state lawmaker Sheila Kuehl, who spent 14 years in the state Assembly and Senate, and three candidates who have served on local city councils: defense lawyer John Duran, businessman and nonprofit founder Bobby Shriver and former union lawyer Pamela Conley Ulich.
Patt Morrison, a veteran Los Angeles Times journalist and columnist and a contributor on KPCC-FM (89.3), will serve as moderator of the debate, which begins at 7 p.m. The question-and-answer session will be live-streamed on the NBC Los Angeles website.
