When it comes to possessing home run power, sophomore Aniesa Maulupe of Carson has it all.

On the biggest stage in City Section Division I softball, Maulupe hit two home runs on Saturday, including a three-run shot in the sixth inning, to lead Carson past Chatsworth, 8-4, in the Division I final at UCLA’s Easton Stadium. It was Carson’s second consecutive title and third in four years.

Maulupe, a Long Beach State commit, hit both home runs over the right-field fence.
