Watch Mr. T score from center ice during intermission of NHL game

Share

There is no one in the history of the world quite like Mr. T. What other person has ever had a mohawk, starred in a No. 1 TV series, starred in a “Rocky” movie and main-evented two WrestleManias? No one else, that’s who.

Now you can add one more item to the legend of Mr. T: Hockey star.

Mr. T was at the Calgary Flames-Chicago Blackhawks game Tuesday night and took part in the “Score From Center Ice” challenge during the second intermission.

During the challenge, fans are selected from the crowd, taken to center ice and asked to shoot a puck at a goal. Covering the goal is a cardboard cutout with three slots at the bottom. Slide the puck through one of the slots and you win a prize. You also get a chance to shoot again, but this time there is only one slot available.

It’s a lot harder than it looks.

Mr. T was chosen Tuesday, to the delight of the crowd. And, after missing on his first two attempts, T nailed the third one and walked away a winner. But the excitement got to him and he missed his shot at the single slot.

Best part: reporter Savannah Collins interviews Mr. T on the ice just before he shoots and asks him his prediction. And we all know what that prediction is. Pain. You can see it all in the video above.
