National signing day: UCLA gets linebacker Dwight Williams

Dwight Williams, a linebacker from Gardena Serra High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Williams is a coup for the Bruins. He is ranked 180^th on the ESPN top 300 high school players list. Louisiana State, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Clemson were among his final list of schools.

Williams could move to outside linebacker in UCLA’s 3-4 defense.
