Soccer: Preseason team watch list released by Southern Section

It’s quite a group of Division 1 teams included in the Southern Section preseason watch list for boys’ soccer.

In boys, it’s Cathedral, Loyola, Servite, Edison, El Toro, Paramount, St. John Bosco and Warren, among others.

TopDrawerSoccer.com has Loyola ranked No. 3 nationally and Cathedral No. 4.

Loyola has three players with college commitments _ Dominic Valdivia (Creighton), Lucho Gazcon (Columbia) and Antonio Chavez Borelli (Boston College).

Cathedral is led by Cal State Fullerton-bound Irving Arvizu.
