L.A. Cathedral is showing early signs of having another strong passing attack for the coming season, having reached the championship game of the Buena Park passing tournament on Saturday, then winning a tournament at USC on Sunday.

Junior quarterback Andrew Tovar, coming off a sophomore season in which he passed for 45 touchdowns, is having good success with speedy receiver Renard Bell.

Kaylen Williams, a 6-4 senior, is also gaining attention for his receiving.

Cathedral defeated Long Beach Poly in Sunday's semifinals.
