WHO: No. 2 Gonzaga (35-2) vs. No. 1 Duke (32-4)

WHAT: NCAA South Regional final, Sunday, 2:05 p.m. PDT

WHERE: NRG Stadium, Houston. TV: CBS.

UPDATE: Gonzaga and Duke are two of the four teams with the longest active NCAA tournament appearance streak, but they have never met before in the tournament. Gonzaga is 0-6 all-time against No. 1 seeds, so a win would mean two firsts: never before have the Bulldogs reached the Final Four. Duke has reached 15. Both teams were among the nation’s best all season. Duke’s freshman center, Jahlil Okafor, one of four finalists for the Naismith Trophy, has been discussed as a possible No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. He averages 17.7 points per game. His teammates, including three other freshmen in key roles, can also win games for the Blue Devils. In a 63-57 win over Utah on Friday, Okafor was held to six points, but freshman forward Justise Winslow scored 21. Gonzaga has a more experienced roster. Forward Kyle Wiltjer, a transfer from Kentucky, is one of the most talented scorers in the nation. Point guard Kevin Pangos is dangerous from the perimeter, and 7-foot-1 center Przemek Karnowski scored 18 points against UCLA on Friday.
