Blake Griffin got an X-ray after Game 5 on Tuesday night that was negative and got an MRI on his sprained right ankle Wednesday. The team was waiting for the results.

The Clippers are saying that Griffin is listed as a game-time decision for Game 6 of the Western Conference first-round playoff series on Friday night against the Grizzlies in Memphis.

Also, the Clippers said Chris Paul suffered a bruised left thumb in Game 5, but that he will play against the Grizzlies.

The Clippers didn’t practice Wednesday, but Coach Vinny Del Negro said Griffin was getting treatment on his ankle.

“We’ll just see how he feels tomorrow and then go,” Del Negro said. “However you want to list him, list him.”

Del Negro said Paul caught his hand in the jersey of Quincy Pondexter late in Game 5.

“But he’ll be fine,” Del Negro said about Paul, who tied his playoff career-high with 35 points in Game 5.

The Clippers trail the best-of-seven series 3-2, and have to get a win to stay in the playoffs and return home for Game 7 on Sunday at Staples Center.
