NFL Pro Bowl: What did you think of the new format? [Poll]

The Pro Bowl has been on life support for some time now.

In the latest, and perhaps most drastic, attempt to save the NFL's all-star game, this year's edition did away with the traditional AFC vs. NFC format in favor of a battle between two teams chosen fantasy-draft style by Hall of Famers Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice.

That created more drama leading up to the game, but what about the event itself on Sunday? Would the matchup between Team Rice and Team Sanders be any more exciting than the lackluster Pro Bowls we've become accustomed to?

Well, the game did come down to the final minute, with Dallas running back DeMarco Murray hauling in a pass from Kansas City quarterback Alex Smith with 41 seconds remaining, then Carolina running back Mike Tolbert rushing for the two-point conversion for a 22-21 Team Rice victory.

That's two NFC players and one from the AFC combining for the game-winning points. How's that for excitement? Or confusion, as fans may not have known who exactly to root for.

There were other little changes too, like two-minute warnings in every quarter, a shortened play clock and no kickoffs.

So what did you think of the new-look Pro Bowl?
