Bills’ Stevie Johnson tweets that North Korea should nuke Foxborough

Share

Buffalo receiver Stevie Johnson has been able to experience the thrill of beating AFC East rival New England just once in the 10 times the two teams have played since he was drafted by the Bills in 2008.

But have no fear, Bills fans. Johnson has come up with a solution to the team’s woes against those pesky Patriots.

Play better? Work harder? Find a quarterback?

Nah. Just have the Patriots’ entire home city of Foxborough, Mass., obliterated by nuke-crazy North Korea. Check out his tweet from Wednesday:

War is nothing to be played with. I apologize North Korea........but if y’all do bomb 1st... Bomb Foxboro, Mass. Sincerely,#BillsMafia— STVN (@StevieJohnson13) April 3, 2013

Obviously Johnson was just joking around. But some people weren’t laughing.

@steviejohnson13 you are such an idiot. You don’t tweet about blowing some place up because they have a better football team...— Ahmad Bakrin (@TheRealBlackrin) April 3, 2013

.@steviejohnson13 is going to get fined a lot for that tweet.— Waylon T-Adam Solet™ (@W_Solet13) April 3, 2013

After tweeting about numerous other topics for the next few hours, Johnson attempted to quiet his critics on the issue.

i know some of yall took it too serious.. but i have Much Respect for The Pats along with Every other NFL Team. Gonna to be a Great #NFL2013— STVN (@StevieJohnson13) April 4, 2013

He then added this, which may just have one more nuke-Foxborough dig in there at the end, just for good measure.
