Ex-Aztec Brohn Is Killed in Auto Accident
Herb Brohn, a former football star at San Diego State, was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday night in Anaheim. He was 25.
Brohn, a four-year letterman, started at inside linebacker from 1982-84 and was the team’s defensive captain in 1984. He led the Aztecs in tackles in 1983 and 1984.
Brohn, who graduated last spring with an industrial arts degree, is survived by his wife, Julie, and a 1-year-old son, Herb III.
In memory of Brohn, SDSU players will wear his number, 46, on their helmets when they play Colorado State Saturday night.
