The International Football Federation (FIFA), will send a 5-man delegation to the United States in April, to inspect potential sites for soccer’s 1994 World Cup. Delegates will visit 16 stadiums in 13 cities, including the Rose Bowl and the Coliseum April 15.

The delegation already has visited the two other candidates, Brazil and Morocco, but the United States is considered the front runner. FIFA members will make the decision July 4 in Zurich, Switzerland.
