Update: The Clippers started this tough week by winning in Denver, breaking the Nuggets’ six-game winning streak. The Nuggets would like to get a measure of revenge Thursday, but the Clippers have been very good at home, with a 10-2 record. Denver, one of the surprise teams in the NBA, hasn’t been too bad on the road, sporting a 7-4 record. Denver’s quick point guard Ty Lawson didn’t play against the Clippers last Sunday because of sprained right ankle, but he is back.
