Update: Chivas USA goes into a new season with new owners, new hope and 12 new players. All that translated into an unbeaten preseason but the team starts with a clean slate Sunday against a Chicago Fire squad that just missed the playoffs last fall. Sunday’s game will mark a homecoming of sorts for the Fire’s Mike Magee, the reigning MLS MVP and a longtime fan favorite with the Galaxy who hasn’t played here since being traded to Chicago 10 months ago. Magee is likely to play some minutes but he may not start Sunday.
