Football: St. Francis stays unbeaten after 20-13 win over Salesian
Michael Bonds passed for two touchdowns to help St. Francis improve to 7-0 on Saturday night with a 20-13 win over Salesian in an Angelus League game at St. Francis.
St. Francis fell behind, 6-3, but rallied behind Bonds, who passed 10 yards for a touchdown to Will Mudie and 80 yards to Gabriel Mathews.
Dulles Hanula made field goals of 47 and 33 yards. Bobby Gazmarian came up with a key interception in the fourth quarter. And Andrew Monarrez had another interception as time expired in the end zone to preserve the win.
St. Francis improved to 2-0 in league and remained tied for first place with Cathedral.
