The best boys' high school golf team in California is the Westlake Warriors.

Westlake won the CIF state championship on Wednesday at Poppy Hills Golf Course, firing a 373 to finish four strokes ahead of second-place Torrey Pines. Loyola finished third. It's the second consecutive state golf title for the Warriors.

Leading the Warriors were Matt Wolff and Spencer Soosman, who shot even-par 71s. Jake Egelske added a 75.

Jacob Solomon of Dublin High won the individual title with a score of 68.
