Cowboys’ C.J. Spillman under investigation in sexual assault case
Dallas Cowboys safety C.J. Spillman is “involved” in an investigation of an alleged sexual assault of a woman in the team’s hotel, police say.
The alleged assault happened Sept. 20 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, said Sgt. Robert Eberling, spokesman for Grapevine police.
The Cowboys played the St. Louis Rams the following day.
Police declined to release any details about the victim or if Spillman has been interviewed.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
The Cowboys did not return a call for comment.
