2005 Langmeil Valley Floor Shiraz Barossa Valley
Grill up some skirt steak or hanger steak and pull the cork on this bottle of Barossa Valley Shiraz. Juicy and lush, it’s going to drink like a champ with anything from the barbie. Winemaker Paul Lindner sources grapes from all over the Barossa, from young vines and old. It’s got the fruit all right -- ripe, but not too ripe, cool and voluptuous. What it doesn’t have is too much oak. And that’s what makes this Shiraz restrained and elegant. It also happens to be a great buy.
