As they've helped to revive the lost glory of roller derby, L.A.'s Derby Dolls have emerged as pop-culture phenoms. Now they're influencing fashion as well. Designers are picking up on their sexy punk look, and at least one skater has come up with a line of her own. Other skaters, including Ane Jens (who competes as Gori Spelling), right, and her Tough Cookies teammate Constance Marshall (a.k.a. Laguna Beyatch), try to keep the ideas churning. They've organized a clan of glam skaters known as the Diva Jammers, who must be able to assemble fanciful "boutfits," look especially good in photo shoots and, of course, score points.
