Live video: the Orion launch

The Orion space capsule is blasting into space this morning from Kennedy Space Center.

The capsule is riding on top of the world’s most powerful rocket, the Delta IV Heavy.

Orion is expected to orbit the Earth twice, traveling 3,600 miles high before returning to splash down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Baja California, Mexico.
