‘The Shield’ actor Michael Jace questioned after wife found dead
Law enforcement sources have told The Times that “The Shield” actor Michael Jace has confessed to shooting his wife to death.
“The Shield” actor Michael Jace was being questioned by Los Angeles Police Department detectives after his wife was found dead at her Hyde Park home, police said Monday.
The victim, April Jace, 40, was found fatally shot inside her home in the 5400 block of Brynhurst Avenue at about 8:30 p.m., police said.
Michael Jace, 50, played a police officer on the crime drama “The Shield” and also had roles in “Planet of the Apes” and “Forrest Gump,” according to the website IMDb.
Since January 2007, at least 57 homicides have been reported within a mile of the shooting scene, according to The Times Homicide Report database.
