16 Killed in Fireworks Blast at Temple Fair

A fireworks explosion killed 16 people who were attending a temple fair in central China on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the government said.
The explosion occurred in Linzhou, a city in Henan province, the official New China News Agency reported, citing local officials. It said the number of injured wasn’t known.
