COLOMBO, SRI LANKA —
A roadside bomb blamed on Tamil Tiger rebels tore through a passenger bus in the north, killing 15 people and wounding 23 others, the military said.
The bus was headed north from the town of Kabithigollewa, said a military spokesman.
The attack took place despite a security crackdown after two blasts last week that killed 20 people in the Colombo area.
