The Defense Department last week identified the following U.S. troops killed in Iraq or who died at a military hospital of their injuries:

Keisha M. Morgan, 25, of Washington, D.C.; specialist, Army. Morgan died of noncombat-related injuries Feb. 22 in Baghdad. She was assigned to the Division Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Kevin S. Mowl, 22, of Pittsford, N.Y.; specialist, Army. Mowl died Monday at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., of wounds suffered Aug. 2 when his vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Orlando A. Perez, 23, of Houston; specialist, Army. Perez was killed Feb. 24 when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire while on foot patrol in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany.

Micheal E. Phillips, 19, of Ardmore, Okla.; specialist, Army. Phillips was killed Feb. 24 when his vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Ky.

Drew W. Weaver, 20, of St. Charles, Mo.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Weaver was killed in combat Feb. 21 in Iraq’s Anbar province, west of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in Twentynine Palms, Calif.
