Arrests follow burglary at Laguna clothing store
Three people were arrested on suspicion of burglary after clothes valued at more than $11,500 were taken from a Forest Avenue retailer Saturday night, Laguna Beach police said.
At around 6 p.m., a Laguna officer saw a female leaving Robin’s Jean at 264 Forest Ave. with “arms full of merchandise,” according to a news release.
At that time, a man carrying merchandise ran from the store toward a vehicle parked on Forest, police said. After a short foot pursuit and the help of additional officers, police arrested Los Angeles residents Matthew Morgan, 21, Geron Funches, 20, and a 16-year-old girl who was detained, charged and released to a parent.
While fleeing, the three dropped the clothes along Forest, said police.
