Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison announced Monday he hopes to be back for a 14th NFL season in the fall at age 38. The very next day, he was randomly ordered to take a drug test by the league.

How do we know about this? Because Harrison posted a video and photo showing much of the process on Instagram.

Random PED test first thing this am! Shorts to the ankles like you did as a kid!

To the uninitiated, it might seem Harrison is sharing a bit too much in those posts. But he loves giving fans glimpses into various aspects of his life via social media, including some insane workout videos of himself.

Come to think of it, posts like these could be another reason Harrison was randomly selected for the test.

And here's yet another. After stating his intention to play out his contract with the Steelers next year, Harrison sent out a saying that he still had to make sure he could "get the body back to where it needs to be."

Surely he meant by working out, but perhaps the league took it a different way.

Back in December, an Al Jazeera report said Harrison had received the banned hormone supplement Delta-2. Harrison has strongly denied the report.

As far as Tuesday's activity, this wouldn't be the first time the NFL's random drug testing didn't seem so random.
