U.S. Aid to Israel

Share

Having just returned from Israel and seen the continuation of building cities in the occupied lands of the West Bank (in direct violation of U.N. desires and U.S. government policy) with our money, I agree with your editorial that some restrictions should be put on any funds given to Israel.

We are now borrowing money from our grandchildren to give away to Israel. When our deficit is balanced and when the Israelis listen to us on policy, we should take another look.

If our representatives in Congress would ask their constituents if they want to give Israel billions in aid each year and borrow the money to do it, I am sure the answer would be no.
