2 Colombian Officials Seized in Drug Probe

BOGOTA, Colombia —
Two presidential palace press spokesmen have been charged with smuggling cocaine in diplomatic pouches to the Colombian Embassy in Spain, officials said Thursday.
Juan Castillo, head of the international press section, and press spokesman Carlos Osorio were seized on an order from military judge Piedad Rodriguez.
The case involves two shipments of cocaine, one sent Dec. 12 and the other Dec. 19, from the presidential palace press office to the Colombian Embassy in Spain.
