Relief pitcher Hoyt Wilhelm and outfielder Lou Brock are rated the most likely candidates to be elected today to baseball’s Hall of Fame.
Results of the balloting by the Baseball Writers Assn. of America will be announced by BBWAA secretary Jack Lang of the New York Daily News.
Other top candidates include pitchers Jim Bunning, Catfish Hunter and Mickey Lolich and second baseman Nellie Fox.
