A federal grand jury indictment in Atlanta...
A federal grand jury indictment in Atlanta charges 37 people, including former Atlanta Falcons’ running back Harmon Wages, with running a national cocaine distribution ring.
The indictment said the 37 participated in an organization that brought “multi-kilogram quantities” of cocaine from Miami into Atlanta for distribution to Alabama, Ohio and Indiana.
Wages was named in another cocaine investigation in Fulton County last fall, but he was not indicted at that time. If convicted on the current charges, he faces up to 23 years in prison and a fine of $85,000.
