Your Dec. 7 story in Fashion85 on the “mystery” of “the Great Inaugural Dress Caper, starring Jimmy Galanos and Nancy Reagan” reminded me of another inaugural ball. Remember when Rosalynn Carter wore a gown that she had already worn at another ball? She looked lovely in her blue chiffon that night! Could Mrs. Reagan perhaps follow this example and be remembered in the same manner?
