Mayer Group Makes Formal Name Change

Mayer Group, a diversified real estate development and syndication company with offices in Beverly Hills, has formally changed its name to CoastFed Properties.

Alan Casden, chairman of the firm, said that the new name reflects the fact that Mayer Group has, during the past several years, become primarily responsible for the major real estate activities for Coast Savings & Loan Assn. Mayer Group was formerly a partnership between Coast and Mayer Group, but the partners in CoastFed Properties include Coast Savings and the Casden Co.
