Fugitive Drug Offender Put on Federal ‘Wanted’ List

WASHINGTON —
The U.S. Marshals Service on Thursday put Karl Robert Byers Jr., a prison escapee, on its list of “15 Most Wanted Fugitives,” the agency said.
Byers, 39, a native of Minneapolis, is considered armed and dangerous and is being sought for escape from the Charleston County Jail in South Carolina. He was serving 25 years on federal narcotics charges.
