Commission Applicants Sought:The city is seeking applicants to fill three positions on the Planning Commission. The terms of Commissioners Mark Sloate, Joe DeCarlo and Charles Markel expire Feb. 28. Commission meetings are scheduled on the second and fourth Mondays of each month and study sessions are held on the first and third Mondays. Commissioners, who receive $50 per meeting, are expected to spend about 20 hours per week on city planning matters. The city manager’s office will accept resumes until 5 p.m. Feb. 15. The council will interview applicants Feb. 20.
