John R. Thomas has been appointed to the board of directors of Mission Viejo National Bank and its holding company, Viejo Bancorp. Thomas, a former managing partner of Coopers & Lybrand until his retirement in September, 1984, is also vice president of Regional Resources Inc., Newport Beach.
