Linda R. Crowley has joined Lunnen Development Co. as vice president of acquisitions and marketing. Prior to joining the Long Beach-based shopping development company, she was director of leasing for Southmark Corp., Dallas.

Ray Wirta has been promoted to executive vice president of the Koll Co., Newport Beach, and Gary J. Alfson to vice president of national corporate services. Wirta joined the firm three years ago to head up asset management; Alfson was formerly with Amdahl Corp.

Ronald Fox, owner of Ronald Fox & Associates, an independent fee appraisal firm in Huntington Beach, was incorrectly identified in a Feb. 10 news item as being the current chief appraiser for Lloyds Bank, a position he held formerly.

C. David Anderson has been named regional vice president for GLENFED Property Management, a subsidiary of Glendale Federal Savings. Anderson will have overall management responsibility for more than $100 million worth of investment property in California.

William T. Altmeyer, formerly chief engineer for Robert Stone & Associates, has been appointed president and principal engineer of Highland Geotechnical Consultants in San Bernardino, a subsidiary of the Irvine Consulting Group.

Hy Tiano was appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer at John Carl Warnecke & Associates.

Ronald Fox, chief appraiser with Lloyds Bank, California, has been awarded the MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) designation by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.

Bruce Lang, vice president of land development for McKellar Development of La Jolla, has been appointed to the newly created state Architects Advisory Board for Handicap Review.

Robert J. Flynn, a longtime specialist in real estate law, has been appointed legal counsel to Bird Development Corp., Mission Viejo.

Thomas L. Hulme has been named chief financial officer of McGranhan Carlson & Co. Investment Builders, Los Angeles. Most recently he was treasurer for Edward Properties Inc.

Claire S. Thompson, formerly a principal of Rowland Associates, has joined Bramson Associates Environmental Design Group, Los Angeles.

Charles P. Flanagan, an appraiser and consultant in the Santa Ana area, has been elected 1985 president of the Southern California chapter 5 of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.

Jerry Pellizzon, a former vice president for the Duke Timber Construction Co., has been appointed vice president and controller of the Lee Sammis Co., Irvine.

Gerald B. Beeny has been elected senior vice president of Ticor Title Insurance Co. of California. He is based in the company’s Rosemead office and serves as district manager, Los Angeles operations.

George S. Briggs has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer of the Irvine-based Lido Pacific Group. He had held the post of controller and chief financial officer for Central Savings & Loan Assn.

Byrn A. Watson, a former senior project engineer for Morley Construction Co., Los Angeles, has appointed vice president.

Richard DiPietro has been promoted to executive vice president and secretary-treasurer of Nexus Development Corp., La Jolla. He previously served as controller.

Jim Hogan, president of Hogan Roy Partners, Costa Mesa, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Landscape Architectural Foundation, a national organization that establishes scholarships and grants for students of landscape architecture.

Three Los Angeles executives have been appointed to the recently formed advisory board of the Hill Partnership, Newport Beach. They are David G. Ellsworth, partner in the law firm of Memel, Jacobs, Pierno & Gersch; Wayne D. Wedin, president of Wedin Enterprises Inc., and Carl R. Terzian, chairman of the board of Carl Terzian Associates.

Michael L. Rubin, formerly John Burnham & Co.’s vice president of property management, has been named vice president of the Burnham Investment Group Inc. Joanne M. Pastula, former vice president/corporate services of the parent company, assumes Rubin’s former position.
